Consultation Terms & Conditions:
Initial Consultation Agreement
This Initial Consultation Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of an Initial Consultation meeting between Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant Melita Breznik (RCIC), membership number R706966, acting on behalf of Pivot North Immigration Inc. (“we” or “us”), and the undersigned Client (“you”):
1. Purpose of Consultation. The purpose of the Initial Consultation is for us (a) to learn about you and your particular immigration situation based on the information you provide, which may include one or more aspects of the Canadian immigration process and related procedures; (b) to answer your questions to the best of our ability; (c) to identify your options and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives; (d) to help you determine your course of action, if any; (e) to determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate. All information and documents that you provide to us shall remain strictly confidential.
Client is expected to provide RCIC with the required information by completing the Intake Questionnaire prior to the consultation appointment. All information and documents that you provide to us shall remain strictly confidential. Client shall receive an email after the consultation (in 2 business days) with a summary of information provided or a service agreement with instructions if decided to proceed with the process.
2. Limits of Engagement. The initial consultation is for information purposes only and is not intended to be for representation purposes. Consultation advice is based on the information provided by the client prior and at the consultation and on the regulations available at the time. Any discrepancy will be the client’s responsibility. Please note that although we try our best to help our clients, the immigration system is highly competitive and as such no promises can be made on the possible immigration options.
3. Fee and Cancellation. In exchange for scheduling an Initial Consultation with Melita Breznik of up to 45 minutes in duration, you agree to pay a non-refundable Consultation Fee of $185 CAD (individual consultation ) or $250CAD (couple) or $80CAD (email consult) to Pivot North Immigration Inc. Despite the foregoing, if your Initial Consultation appointment is cancelled with at least 24 hours advance notice provided to us, we will refund the Consultation Fee to the credit card you provided. Furthermore, you may re-schedule your Initial Consultation appointment with at least 24 hours advance notice provided to us without penalty.
4. Our Promise. If the client decides to retain us for representation within FOUR weeks of the day initial consultation was provided, fees paid for the consultation will be credited towards services agreement in the amount:
- For services exceeding $1000 CAD receive a full consultation credit
- For services below $1000 CAD receive a $100 CAD credit
5. Acceptance. Please be advised that Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) MELITA BREZNIK is a licensee in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and as such is bound by its Bylaw, Code of Professional Ethics and Regulations. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province/Territory of British Columbia, Canada.
By submitting payment to us, you indicate your agreement of these terms, you will by that action agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth above in this Initial Consultation Agreement and acknowledge that any further engagement of Melita Breznik will require a further written agreement with different terms.
